Dr. T.S. Kler, Chairman at Fortis Heart Memorial Institute and former Chairman, PSRI Heart Institute, is an internationally recognized surgeon who laid the foundation of the first dedicated Electrophysiology department in India at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.
His many accomplishments involve spearheading the radio Frequency Ablations programme at Escorts (1993), being the first doctor in India to implant an ICD, CRT-P & CRT-D, and performing the first HIS bundle pacing in India (2015).
He played a key role in implementing RF Ablation & cardiac devices implantation programs in South East Asia.
He has performed more than 25,000 coronary, renal, carotid & peripheral angioplasties.
Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Kler has also received the Delhi Medical Association Centenary award and the Lifetime Achievement award by the Indian Medical Association.
Despite his academic and clinical success, he remains humble and jovial.
